TMC Listing Details
If you are selling used truss machinery our goal is to make sure that you the seller and
your buyer are 100% satisfied with your business transaction and that this transaction
promotes a Win-Win scenario for all parties involved.
Through our easy no-obligation brokerage system, you set your net price and together
we establish the selling price. Our commission covers the cost of marketing and sales
efforts, arranging for freight, securing payment and all other details associated with the
sale of your listing. The percentage of commission ranges from 10% to 20% of the
selling price depending on the dollar amount. You can list your selling price type as
OBO, Asking, or Firm. All offers will be presented to you regardless of the listed price.
You have full control to accept or decline any offer made.
Photographs - Please send 1 to 5 digital photos of the machine you are listing. We
prefer digital photos but we can scan any standard photos that you might send to us.
Please provide photos from several angles. Close-ups of important features and ID tags
are also helpful. For your convenience we provide a free upload service to make
sending large files very easy
How are prospective buyers handled?
Our experience in the truss machinery market ensures that you the seller and the buyer
get a square deal. Leave the negotiating to us and we will sort out all interests to
bring you qualified prospects. Although we encourage prospects to talk to or visit the
seller to review specific conditions and operation of your machinery, we find that high
rates of closing a sale can be achieved by leaving the sales process to us, including all
offers.
How is a sale concluded?
When a Buyer is found with terms that meet your approval, you'll be asked to sign a
Seller’s Used Machinery Purchase Order Acknowledgement form (Download a
PO_Acknowledgement_Sample.pdf for more details). It is your responsibility to make
sure that all of your listing information including statements, descriptions, disclosures,
photographs, etc., are truthful and completely accurate. The data you submit will give
your buyers the pre-screening tools they need to make an informed buying decision.
You must list the condition of your machinery as Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent.
In addition to categorizing the condition you must also declare a rating of the condition.
Ratings are on a scale from 1 to 10 with the range being in line with the condition
(Examples: Fair = 1 or 2, Good = 3 to 5, Very Good = 6 to 8, Excellent = 9 or 10 ).
Disclosure should include obvious items that need or soon will need repair or service
in order to operate the machine normally. Last service date is also helpful.
Once we have successfully negotiated a sale for you, we arrange for freight and
schedule a time for loading. We also collect full payment due to you, the seller,
before the equipment leaves your location. You are responsible to disassemble all
necessary components and to assist in the loading of the equipment. We notify Buyers
that equipment is sold “as is, where is”, with no warranty expressed or implied
(subject of course to any warranties or representations made by you as the Seller).
